Your Head Guide, Rodney Campbell

Rodney Campbell, a 3rd generation Montana native, has been fishing Montana waters since 1964 and guiding in southwest Montana for the past 20+ years. He will use that experience and knowledge to find you the most fishable water and give you the best possible fishing trip. As a licensed outfitter, he is both professional and conscientious. Rodney is active in river conservation and practices catch-and-release fishing.

Rodney Campbell is your lead fishing guide for Montana guided fishing trips.

Drift boat or wade fish on the Yellowstone River, Gallatin River, Madison River, Missouri River, and the Jefferson River. All day trips are based out of Bozeman, Montana, which is centrally located for exceptional fishing. Four major airlines serve Bozeman’s new air terminal.

Rodney has a wealth of knowledge about regional history and the area’s wildlife which he looks forward to sharing with you. Winters, Rodney is a ski patroller at Bridger Bowl ski area and a nationally certified EMT (emergency medical technician). Your safety is a top concern.

Mark

Scott

Scott has guided in Montana and Idaho for twenty-three years as well as one summer in Alaska, to say he likes to guide is an understatement. Scott is a great casting instructor in both single and two-handed rods and will help you with your cast and teach you the finer points of reading water to improve your on stream experience. A day on the river with Scott will see your casting and overall fishing, and catching skills improve. During winter Scott is a ski patroller at Bridger. He is married with two children, a seven year son and an eleven year old daughter, he is just now teaching his son how to row a drift boat, after all, you have to learn how to row before you can fish!

Jim

If there's one thing that fish truly fear, it's Jim. The Wyoming native has lived in Bozeman, Montana for the past 25 years and knows the surrounding waters like the back of his hand. He has been a fishing guide for ten years, working for various outfitters in the area. He has been a fly-fishing model and guide for L.L. Bean, appearing on the cover of their Fly-Fishing catalog twice. When he's not fishing, he is the Assistant Ski Patrol Director at Big Sky Resort. He is known however, for always keeping his fly rod in the back of the truck alongside his skis just in case…
